I grew up with a wood shop in the garage and have picked up things from helping my dad out and the occasional project. Today I started a last minute prop for fanime, and now just have to seal and paint it. I’m pretty proud of it, since I did over 90% of the work on it (I broke down the plan of attack with my dad and he helped me drill into the dowel for the barrel since I wasn’t sure how successful I would be at that part)
Fanime is way too soon. ANYWAYS, I got my seating assignment for Artists Alley! I will be at table 205, right next to the staff table and bathrooms, in the center of the hall.
I’ll have an assortment of things including art prints (both fanart and original), felted wool creatures, business card holders/convention wallets, makeup bags, and even Hearts of Roese merchandise. I will even have a special new paper cutout I am super excited about that will be at my table!

I really really like this game.
This print for Fanime is based on an experience in Journey where my partner started drawing hearts and writing to me at the very end of the game, and then sent me a really nice message through the playstation network.

My felt display is slowly filling up with adorable things!
A test for a new display piece I picked up.
My goal is to have this filled with needle-felted pieces, both figures (the pikachu) and charm/keychains (like the penguin) at conventions for selling.
I really like how it looks so far. Also I totally set it up and filled it with my own knick-knacks for until fanime.
Don’t mind me, making a sample collection post of what I’ll be selling at Fanime for the AA reg.

And those are my main sorta things I’ll be selling. I may have bookmarks, keychains, some pins, and felt creatures on top of prints and all that, but it depends on time. Oh, and I may be selling the first chapter of my webcomic, Hearts of Roese.

Hey Artist Alley people~! I want to try a new printer.
I currently print via CatPrint.com and I want to try out a new printer (I feel my prints aren’t as sharp as they could be, if that makes any sense). Does anyone have suggestions?
Also, any suggestions for paper type for printing? I currently do light cardstock with a matte finish, and I’m wary about trying glosses because I never know how shiny it will arrive.
Man, I am really planning ahead for Fanime’s Artist Alley this year.
Tables aren’t even available yet, and here I am formatting an inventory list and planning potential things to get ready, figuring out what I need to order more of… usually I do all of this in a panic at the start of May.
